伊沛霞（Patricia Ebrey）现为美国华盛顿大学历史系教授，其主要研究领域为宋代社会文化史。她多年从事家族、女性、仪式的研究，并且编写了多种中国通史教材、读物，其著作被翻译成中、韩、德等多种文字。近年来，她主要关注宋徽宗的研究，主持编写了学术论文集《宋徽宗和北宋晚期：文化的政治和政治的文化》（Emperor Huizong and Late Northern Song China: The Politics of Culture and the Culture of Politics. Co-edited with Maggie Bickford. Harvard University Asia Center, 2006），并撰写《积累文化：宋徽宗的收藏》（Accumulating Culture: The Collections of Emperor Huizong. University of Washington Press, 2008）一书。
